Cathy & Dave got married! We’re not even sure where to begin describing their day. It was packed with laughter and tears, overwhelming joy and a touch of bittersweet sadness. It was the only time we have ever heard one of our brides sing at her own ceremony (and Cathy has an incredibly angelic voice), and also the only time a giant party boat tooted it’s horn in unison with loud cheers from its occupants, right at the same time we were taking portraits of the bride and groom! We adore Cathy & Dave’s dynamic together. They are both so in love, so complimentary to one another that every photo we took of them was better than the next. They are both totally cool as well! Cathy looked stunning in her Liancarlo gown & Kate Spade shoes, and Dave looked dashing in his tux. It’s always a pleasure working with our couples at the Glen Island Harbour Club. Not only is there some really gorgeous spots for outdoor photos nearby (including a castle and the rock outcrop behind the venue), the way they take care of our couples and their guests is second to none. It’s always fun for Vicki and I to grab a fresh grilled pretzel for the drive home! We couldn’t have been happier to have spent the day with Cathy + Dave and their friends and families. Another cherry on top? Working with our absolute favorite videographer and good friend, Geoff Boka from The Light Mill. A pretty perfect day.
