Nothing says “New England Wedding” like a wedding in Mystic, CT! We couldn’t wait to see Kristy + Chris again after their secret garden engagement session, and after all the fun we had together. They are both just the nicest people, and we couldn’t wait to see what Ana Parzych had in store for them (our favorite cake maker), in addition to being at
the Inn at Mystic again. I feel like if you are bringing your parents to a town in CT that is going to give them a true “New England” feel, Mystic is the way to go. And in our opinion there isn’t a better place to get married in Mystic than at the Inn at Mystic.
It checks all the right boxes. A gorgeous mansion on top of a hill overlooking the harbor. Majestic trees surrounding a quaint garden. A ceremony location with a view of the nearby lake. All near the seaport that draws thousands of visitors every weekend, which is great for out of town family and friends. So it was no surprise that we had a blast at Kristy and Chris’s wedding. Not only did they both look amazing, but they had such a refined, classic feel to their entire day, from the jazz and classical music, to Kristy’s stunning Demetrios wedding gown. Flowers by Pot of Green were a beautiful exclamation point to everything they accented.
The highlight of the night? Chris’s speech in English, German and Chinese that had everyone (including us) laughing and crying. We couldn’t have had a better time with them and their friends and family, and wish them all the best in their many, many years to come!
