One of the great things about our job is getting to experience all of the different cultures and ceremonies celebrated by our couples and their families and friends.  Whether it be the Baraat in a Northern Indian or Pakistani ceremony, or the signing of the Ketubah in a Jewish ceremony, we love them all.  Angie & Matt were married in front of the gorgeous backdrop of grapevines at the Saltwater Farm Vineyard, incorporating Native American traditions (Angie’s mom is the Chief of the Mohegan tribe) into their ceremony.  It was an emotional and highly spiritual event, and we gladly took in every moment.

And speaking of Angie & Matt, we couldn’t have been happier for them – they are both super sweet and incredibly fun to be around (Vicki as a huge hockey fan loved chatting with Matt about their mutual appreciation of the sport).  We absolutely adored using everything the vineyard has to offer for photos – from the lush green vines to the surrounding fields thick with wildflowers, even popping them into the beautifully tall, golden tipped grass surrounding the entrance.  And how great they look together!  There wasn’t a moment when Vicki and I weren’t silently oohing and aahing over them in every spot we picked for photos.  Angie looked stunning in her Lazaro gown, with her dashing groom Matt in his suit from Tommy Hilfiger.  And the flowers from Thames River Greenery were the perfect accompaniment to the day – an English garden neatly wrapped into beautiful bunches of color.  And did we mention cupcakes?  We love those too!

All in all, it was the perfect day, and we were thrilled to have been there to capture it all.  We wish them both the best in all of their journeys together as husband and wife!
