Vicki and I love traveling. Whether it’s a vacation overseas, discovering a new vista in a neighboring town, or finding our way to a beautiful photography destination as a recommendation from our couples, there is something wonderful about finding inspiration from new points of view. And since we can’t know every possible place there is to know for great photography, it’s always fun adding a new location to the list, and rediscovering it from a new couple’s perspective. We recently had the pleasure of traveling to Rockefeller State Park Preserve in New York, this time with Jessica + Christian, who were looking for a location nearby for their engagement photos. We had a blast revisiting some of our favorite spots, and discovering a few new ones as well. And one of the best parts of it all? Jessica, who is an exquisite baker, had baked us two dozen homemade cookies for us to take home as a thank you for coming out to photograph them. How great is that? These two are so sweet and down to earth, and they look absolutely perfect together. Stay tuned for even more photos of Jessica + Christian at their amazing Pleasantdale Chateau wedding, coming soon to our blog!
