Kelley + Bobby

Kelley and Bobby’s wedding day was an exhilarating mix of emotions – there wasn’t a dry eye in the church for much of the ceremony.  But for every tear there was a smile, a laugh or a great big warm hug as Kelley and Bobby came together to celebrate their lives together, and the journey they intend to embark on.  And they had rain.  What would typically send shivers up any bride’s spine was nothing more than a shrug and a graceful statement that we were going to get great photos. How could we not love that?  And so they endured some sprinkling, turning to a light shower at one point that sent the bridal party hurriedly shrieking back to the bus.  And as we always tell our couples, this is New England.  New England may rain on your wedding day, but it won’t be for long.  Maybe just long enough to remind us all that there can be no pleasure without a little bit of pain, and that if you are willing to roll with it, everything works out in the end.  And so it did, giving them (and us) the most wonderful memories of an incredible day at The Inn at Longshore, filled with joy and a little rain.  And what was left here are just a few of our favorite moments from their wedding day, to help them remember just how much they love each other, and are loved by everyone they know.
