Tod’s Point in Greenwich is another of Connecticut’s hidden gems. And while Vicki and I tend to spend most of our time near the gorgeous coastline, and the jade green reeds that surround the beach, we still always wondered about the parts we hadn’t yet seen. Kristy and Chris asked us back to Tod’s Point for photos, and we had the opportunity to discover a secret location – a gorgeous little garden that Chris took Kristy to propose. It was absolutely magical, with bunny rabbits bouncing around in between brightly colored flower bushes, and a quiet bench for stolen moments that we happily took advantage of.
It’s what we love so much about what we get to do. Discovering secret locations with our couples, and being introduced to new pieces of Connecticut that tell a larger story about the state we call home. It was a special place for Kristy and Chris, and we were thrilled that they chose to share it with us. The beach at Tod’s point is also a special for us because we are always treated to a clearly visible & golden sunset, something that can be a bit tricky elsewhere. We finished the day with them, and with the sun setting over the porcelain shell beach. All in all, we had a fantastic time, and couldn’t wait to see them again. Stay tuned for their lovely wedding photos from the Inn at Mystic later this week!
