Leslie + Kap

San Francisco.  While the people inhabiting the city seem to have gradually changed, our feelings for it most certainly have not.  And while we mostly remember mild days with fog rolling in at 3PM to a chilling effect, it was strangely in the 80-90’s while we were there.  It was so beautiful and sunny, it even prompted one of our old friends to admonish us with the following information:   “San Francisco is going to be like this from now on – now you have to move back!”.  San Francisco.  The  place where Vicki and I first met, and fell in love.  And while we left to move to the East Coast, we still have big parts of our hearts still there, waiting for us to snap them back into place when we visit.

Vicki’s friend Leslie had inquired about our photography, and we were pretty excited.  Not too many things better than having the chance to photograph good friends in a city you adore.  And we fell in love with Kap.  Such a sweet guy, and so perfect for Leslie.  They couldn’t stop smiling at each other, or laughing, or just goofing around together.  The kind of people that make everyone happier to be in their presence, and to share in their electric energy.  And together, they have the most adorable little Cairn Terrier, Stella.  Stella was there from the rehearsal dinner, all the way to the last dance of the night.  A little dog with lots of personality.  And always with Leslie, happy to just be where ever she (and Kap) happened to be.  And so we spent the day, surrounded by friends new and old, taking photos and experiencing a pretty special day.  Below are just a select few of our favorite photos from their wedding.  Leslie and Kap, thank you for bringing us out to California, and we hope these photos bring as big of a smile  to your faces as they do ours!
