We’ve photographed all types of weddings. Fancy, elegant affairs at stately mansions. Quiet, intimate gathering of only the closest friends and family in backyards. Even weddings in hurricanes at yacht clubs. But if we were hard-pressed to come up with the ideal wedding to photograph, Stephanie & Michael’s vineyard wedding at Rosedale Farm & Vineyard comes so close it might as well be our answer. It was such a perfect combination of style and cool vibes – we felt like we were at a party with friends rather than at work.
We adored Stephanie & Michael’s fashion sense, and were thrilled with how amazing they looked together anytime our cameras focused in on them. And what a perfect venue Rosedale Farm & Vineyard is for a vineyard wedding and tented reception. We had the run of the entire place, which resulted in Vicki and I happily leading the bride and groom through rows of flowers, grape vines, into in a huuuge sunflower field, and onto a vintage truck. And how cool is it that Stephanie’s mom is a (incredibly talented) pastry chef? And that she made the wedding cake and all the cupcakes? Everything tasted as good as it looked.
And did we mention a giant field of games (Giant Jenga! A clawfoot bathtub with hula hoops! Cornhole!) for the guests? Or the Rough House food truck featuring signature hot dogs and BBQ? Or the Mister Softee ice cream truck? Or the popcorn and candy bar? Or the men’s Acapella group serenading the bride and groom? We could go on and on. It was so much fun to be around so many awesome people truly enjoying themselves. We just want to know if Stephanie & Michael wouldn’t mind renewing their vows in 5 years so we can do it all over again (pretty please!!). We are so happy for them and so grateful we got to be there on their big day to capture it all.
