Whimsical Forest Smoke-bomb Engagement

What do you get when you cross a super hot couple dressed to the nines with a rugged woodland setting and colorful smoke?  Why a whimsical forest smoke-bomb engagement session of course!  We met up with Lauren & Jeff at Mianus River Park for their engagement photos a few weeks ago, and were so thrilled when we saw what they were wearing.  Jeff had on a stylish blue suit and Lauren wore a sleek gown matched with gorgeous earrings.  They both looked fantastic, and we couldn’t wait to start pairing them up against the beautiful fall trees and rocky rivers.  They are both very adventurous, and had no problem hopping over and onto rocks in their finest to help us with our vision for their photos.  Lauren had asked us about smoke-bombs after seeing Erik’s elopement shoot in Devil’s Hopyard earlier this year, so we happily told her all about the Enola Gay smoke grenades with the hopes that they would pick some up.  And they did!  We had the best time setting them off and capturing the effects and are pretty thrilled with the results.  It was definitely an awesome day spent with great people.  We can’t wait to see them on their wedding day next year.  Thanks guys!!
