Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in the Taconic Region of New York is really an amazing place. With views of the Hudson, and the Tappan Zee bridge, it still manages to feel secluded enough for a romantic engagement session with our couples. We met Juliana and John there (they enjoy running in the park), and spent the afternoon finding beautiful spots in the golden sunlight for portraits. We were delighted to see that the park had added a flock of sheep (presumably to help with “mowing” the grass), and happy they didn’t have full run of the area as it gave us some great opportunities to play in the tall grass. Juliana and John even brought a picnic along, including a pretty bouquet which added in another fun element to their photos. We had a wonderful time with them, and love how great they fit together. We’ll have photos from their awesome Glen Island Harbor Club wedding soon!
